VIRTUAL WALK
IN THE PARK

Created an augmented reality activation enabling people to play fetch in the park with a virtual dog (and his owner) in order to demonstrate the reclaimed quality of life of skin-cancer survivors and drive traffic to the brand’s exhibit.

When guests walked by the life-sized image of the man and his golden retriever, both would magically turn to face the guest. If the guest waved, the man and his dog would wave back. If they raised their arm, the man would throw a ball and the dog would fetch it. If they raised both arms the dog would stand up and twirl. Finally, once all of the tricks had been performed, the man would tip his hat to the guest and wish them farewell.

After they played with the virtual dog, guests could get a real treat from the adjacent ice cream cart.

Each interaction was measured to track booth engagement, visitor demographics, and linger time.
